Lifestyle 2026 - Barton Neighbourhood team!!

Good afternoon - The Barton Neighbourhood Policing Team 🚨 presented an assembly at Barton St Peter's CE this afternoon, to give information about Lifestyle 2026!!

#Lifestyle is an award-winning summer challenge ran by Humberside Police, for groups of young people aged between 10 and 16 years old. If you live within the Humberside Policing area, your child can choose a team of friends and then complete a project over the summer holidays, to help improve their local community by making the neighbourhood a better place to live.

The project can literally be anything, for example:

Community litter picking

Flower/tree planting

Creating wildlife areas

Helping charities or supporting local elderly residents

Food bank collections

Community events

Awareness of mental health or healthy eating

Arranging community murals or artwork

Improving public spaces

Prizes include a trip to Paris and Disneyland, as well as adventure holidays, cinema trips, paintballing, Karting, roller discos, plus lots more 💥
